How to Help and Donate (Typhoon Sendong's Aftermath)

Sunday, December 18, 2011

Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City residens were caught off guard and are distraught of the outcome of what happens to be one of the deadliest cyclones in the Philippines in 12 years.

Typhoon Sendong has taken about more than 1,000 lives (and more missing).

If none of the fore-mentioned work for you, you can always look around Facebook or Twitter for other ways. I'm pretty sure most alma maters are also extending their support to the victims, so you can also drop by schools and ask if they have any SENDONG Operations on-going.

La Salle schools, orgs, and associations have started receiving donations for the victims.

LBC offers FREE shipping of donations to the affected areas.
Drop off your donations and goods to any LBC branch and they will ship it to the areas in need.

Give love on Christmas Day. PRAY FOR THEM AS WELL.

xx C

  4. Nice post. Thanks for sharing. I hope that preventative measures can be put in place soon. One thing that can be done which costs nothing is each individual take responsibility for their garbage and put it where it belongs instead of throwing it all over the streets, rivers, and everywhere else.
