If they say life is a box of chocolates then I hope to get one (or all) of these.
Only you can say if you're right or wrong.
You can go ahead and ask everyone if the decisions you have made are wrong or right, but everyone's opinion varies and not all of them matters. You're smart enough to gauge which advice you should consider and which ones to disregard. No one else knows your story but God and yourself.
You can get hurt, but it doesn't mean you should.
Oh the many times we misconstrue love as something that pains or burdens us. Love stings, but was never meant to hurt us. Don't ever think that the suffering is ALWAYS part of the package.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." (1 Corinthians 13:1-13)
You are worth it.
And there will always be someone who will value you. No one else has the right to tell you to stay if you know in your heart that you shouldn't. Love will never be about getting even, but always about enabling and motivating. And you are worth enabling, you are worth the time, you are worth the love.
